Booking choice: The Atlantis submarine dive, from $160 per person. Check dates Compare the options below
The Maui Atlantis Submarine is back in Lahaina after the 2023 fire, and there is only one ticket type: the dive itself, with the shuttle boat out to the sub included. What changes is where you buy it, how much the children pay, and what you add on the day, starting with parking.
Prices below are from the Viator listing (checked 30 September 2026) and the direct prices Atlantis quoted to Beat of Hawaii in June 2026. They move with the season, so the checkout price is the one that counts.
The quick answer
On Viator the dive is $160 per adult, or about $144 on the 10% offer for bookings by 15 October 2026 (travel by 31 December). Children get about 55% off. Atlantis quoted $148 adult and $66 child direct in June 2026, but Viator adds free cancellation up to 24 hours before. Harbor parking and gratuities are extra, and there is no hotel pickup.

How much is the Maui Atlantis submarine in 2026?
The regular Viator price is $160 per adult, about $144 on the current 10% offer, and children pay about 55% less.
Here is how the ways to buy compare. The offer applies to bookings made by 15 October 2026 for dives up to 31 December 2026.
| Where you book | Adult | Child | Cancellation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Viator, regular price | $160 | About 55% off (around $72) | Free up to 24 hours before |

Check dates for the Atlantis submarine diveWhat does the ticket include?
The open-air shuttle boat from Lahaina Harbor to the sub and back, about 45 minutes underwater, live narration by the crew and local taxes.
Japanese audio narration is available on board. Not included: hotel pickup, harbor parking and gratuities. The whole tour lasts about 1 hour 50 minutes, and you check in 30 minutes before your dive time.

Is it cheaper to book direct with Atlantis?
At the regular price, yes: $148 direct against $160 on Viator, but the Viator offer (about $144) is currently below the direct price.
What the extra dollars buy on Viator is flexibility: a full refund if you cancel up to 24 hours before, which matters on a trip where weather and plans change. In June 2026 Atlantis also ran a summer sale at $128 adult and $56 child direct, so compare both before you pay.
Do you pay for parking, and is there hotel pickup?
Parking is paid, and there is no hotel pickup: you drive yourself or take a taxi or rideshare to Lahaina.
Check-in is at the Atlantis Submarines Maui "Meet Here" sign in the harbor-area lot at 116 Prison Street; enter the lot from Shaw Street. A guest services agent then walks the group through the harbor works to the temporary pier. From Kihei or Wailea, allow about 45 minutes to an hour.

Staying in Kaanapali? The sub is a short drive away, and the booking cancels free up to 24 hours before.
Check dates for the Atlantis submarine diveWhat times and days does the submarine run?
As of mid-2026, three dives a day at 9 AM, 11 AM and 1 PM, on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Tuesdays and Fridays are kept for charging the batteries, according to the June 2026 restart reports. Before the fire there were six tours a day, seven days a week, so there are fewer seats than there used to be. The booking calendar always shows the current times.

Only free on a Tuesday or Friday? Check the calendar first: those days were dark in the mid-2026 schedule.
Explore the Atlantis submarine diveCan you cancel a Maui submarine ticket?
On Viator, yes: you get a full refund if you cancel up to 24 hours before your dive.
If you book direct, read the cancellation terms at checkout, because they are set by Atlantis rather than Viator. Either way, keep your phone number on the booking so the crew can reach you if a dive changes.
How much do children pay?
Child rates apply up to age 12: about 55% off on Viator (around $72), or $66 direct at the June 2026 price.
From 13, everyone pays the adult price. Every child must be at least 36 inches (91 cm) tall, infants are not allowed, and under-16s must dive with an adult. More in the Atlantis submarine with kids.

How far ahead should you book?
A few days ahead is usually enough, but book earlier for school holidays and the December to May whale season.
With three dives a day on five days, and up to 46 travelers per dive on the Viator listing, popular times fill. Because the ticket cancels free up to 24 hours before, booking early costs nothing. Still deciding? Read is the Atlantis submarine worth it.
